As you may have noticed, I’m a big fan of wearing eye-catching shoes which make a statement. All too often, shoes are thought of as a practical items – and while I’ll admit to switching to a sensible pair when riding a bicycle, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be a bit more fun the rest of the time. Often, bold shoe styles are easier to walk in than you might imagine. If you struggle to walk in high stiletto heels, for example, then you might find it easier to go for chunky platform designs. You’re sure to be able to find a design which works for you. You may even find that particular designer makes shoes which fit your feet perfectly, in which case you’ll want to keep an eye out of their latest designs. Don’t be afraid to wear shoes which are a little more daring. After all, if you find it difficult to shop for clothes which look great, then this is an easy way to make sure that you’ll still stand out from the crowd. Don’t feel that you should hold on to your favourite pair for a special occasion – shoes fashions come and go, so if you’ve got a pair that you love, then wear them! Although you might not want to wear high heels every day of the week, there’s no rule to say that you can wear bright, glittering boots to play Foxy Bingo or do the washing up if you want to! Often, wearing a fabulous pair of shoes can be an easy way to put a smile on your face. Lastly, it is a good idea to remember that a good pair of shoes can add the perfect finish touch to almost any outfit. It is worth spending just as much time choosing your shoes as you would a dress, and making sure you find the right pair.
